Don’t let the view from the dirt road fool you. Skye’s Eye Cabin is a very special home with a short 1.5km walk to the beach. It is neatly tucked away from the “beastly easterly” and has a 180 degree sky and forest view with the most exquisite sunrises & sunsets. It also offers a private entrance to Yellowwood Forest Tea Garden and Pizzeria where you can enjoy great pizza, ice-cold craft beer and of course the well-known Yellowwood Market every Saturday. The Mudhutters are also to our right where Linda and Chris offer the most amazing sauces, treats, art etc.

This serene home offers 3 bedrooms with a wrap-around veranda. Two of the bedrooms are on-suite, one with an indoor bath and outdoor shower, the other with an indoor shower and outdoor bath – all connected to a gas geyser. Both main bedrooms offer a queen-size bed and ample cupboard space. The 3rd bedroom is an arty Zen room with a double original Japanese Futon bed, which could suit 2 children, or adults who are willing to try something different. All the art in the home is for sale, hosting a beautiful piece of art by Michael Goedvolk.

It is a basic, beautiful home with a “less is more” vibe. Newly renovated with love, creating a calm and peaceful environment within nature. There is a splash pool and “hand-made” forest braai for those lazy afternoons. If your pets are “family”, they are more than welcome (by arrangement). Children are most welcome (at parents’ risk). Our gas geyser and hob allow for uninterrupted hot showers and cooking facilities. Solar and fairy lights are also available.

A hand made birdfeeder will keep the avid birdwatcher intrigued for hours. There is an abundance of birding habitats in Morgan Bay and surrounding areas hosting over 320 different species. We are fortunate enough to have a few resident owls, Crowned Hornbills, Kingfishers and many more.

Skye’s Eye Cabin is also on the “Investec Great Kei Trek” route, making it easy for family to wave to their loved ones without leaving home.
